Pannenkoek2012, is a computer science expert and a Super Mario 64 analyst who uploads professional YouTube videos of Super Mario 64 challenge TASes. However, before we can show you his videos, we need to talk about esoteric knowledge of each mechanical detail of the game.

A Button Challenge

The A Button Challenge, ABC for short, is a challenge in which the number of Button presses of the A button is minimized, whether on a per-mission or a per-file basis. Because the A button makes Mario jump, great creativity and precision are required to progress in the game without using this "vital" function. The ABC is often connected to the discoveries of new glitches and techniques that can be used more generally throughout the game. Much of the material on the pannenkoek2012 and UncommentatedPannen channels is related to the A Button Challenge, with only 27 remaining A presses (18 unique A presses) left to optimize.

While this wiki was originally created two years ago by AgentMuffin due to memes surrounding Pannenkoek2012, editors should realize that the popularity of these memes hurt Pannenkoek very badly. Therefore, I am strongly against putting new memes related to Pannenkoek2012 and new editors should avoid putting more memes than already necessary. Since more complete technical information has been imported to Ukikipedia, I think this Wiki has run its course. I will no longer be editing on this wikia, but will occasionally update the news regarding A-button Challenge so that information is still up to date.
