The Original Impossible Coin
The Original Impossible Coin was found in 2002 by a user named Josiah on the GameFAQs Super Mario 64 board[1]. The Original Impossible Coin is in Tiny Huge Island, making Tiny Huge Island actually having 2 "impossible" coins. The Original Impossible Coin is stuck inside the ball spawner in the small part of Tiny Huge Island. Before pannenkoek2012 collected it on June 23, 2014[2], Curtis Bright was close to the coin, but never actually managed to collect it.[3]

The New Impossible Coin[]
On October 23rd of 2016, a New Impossible Coin was discovered in Tiny Huge Island on the Huge part of the Island. This time, it was really impossible to collect because of a special failsafe. The coin spawner spawns 5 coins, the Impossible Coin being underground. However, a special failsafe comes. If the coin detects it is below the ground, it will instantly unload. As expected, this only applies to the Impossible Coin.[4] Pannenkoek2012 thinks that the 2 Impossible Coins in Tiny Huge Island are cause by a bigger, underlying reason. He hypothesizes that there once was another slope in addition to the 2 other slopes.
The Slope X Hypothesis as well as the New Impossible Coin if it didn't unload.
